Irish President Michael D. Higgins at launch of Reimagining Ireland Reader

On Tuesday 27 February, we were delighted to welcome a very special guest to the launch of The Reimagining Ireland Reader: Examining Our Past, Shaping Our Future.

The President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, was in attendance at the launch, which took place at IT Tallaght in Dublin. The event was preceded by the 25th IT Tallaght Commemorative Lecture, delivered by Victor Merriman of Edge Hill University.

The book brings together a selection of essays from the first fifty volumes of the Reimagining Ireland series, carefully chosen to give a flavour of the diversity and multidisciplinary nature of the series. Reimagining Ireland is edited by Eamon Maher of the National Centre for Franco-Irish Studies at IT Tallaght, who also edited the Reader.
