Peter Lang series editor awarded France’s order of merit
Dr Sarah Alyn Stacey, editor of the series Court Cultures of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, has been awarded France’s second highest national order of merit, becoming a Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite.
Dr Alyn Stacey is an Associate Professor in the Department of French at Trinity College Dublin, where she is also the founding director of the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. She has published extensively on Savoy in the sixteenth century, notably on the poet Marc-Claude de Buttet.
