‘Terry and Mason’s Great British Food Trip’ features series editor David Jacques

‘Terry and Mason’s Great British Food Trip’ on BBC 2 at 6.30 pm on September 17th features Studies in the British Mesolithic and Neolithic series editor David Jacques alongside Sir Terry Wogan and Mason McQueen during their visit to Salisbury:

Sir Terry Wogan and cabbie Mason McQueen are in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on a quest to find the flavours that make this historic city tick. They track down weird and wonderful local food, tasting lardy cakes in the historic 13th-century marketplace to venison stew in a venerable coaching inn with a very dubious past. They also visit the home of watercress, enjoy a curry cooked on a fire where our earliest ancestors lived, and meet a 12-foot giant who has presided over all of Salisbury’s feasts since the 14th century.
